Chad Bui suffered a hemorrhagic stroke in January of 2019 and has been working with our specialist Nathan Smeester since. Nathan works with Chad on regaining control of his left arm, maintaining balance and building strength. In the last two months, he has begun to walk more independently! Oscar Frasser came to us in December of 2014 after having a stroke as a result of an arteriovenous malformation in 2010. Specialist Kara Waukau is working with Oscar on single leg hip extension with alternating hip flexion in preparation for walking. Juan Jose Reyes suffered a stroke in 2017 and has been with working with our specialist Kassidy Davis since. Kassidy works with Juan on maintaining proper knee control during controlled squats on the Total Gym and working on hip and and core strength. He continues to make progress every day, and we are motivated by his strength and determination.
